Progressive Field Services Ltd, established in 2014, is co-owned and jointly operated by Sam and Paula Wilson. Based within Otago, we are a mobile field service, maintenance and repair operation, working where and when you need us. 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Our field service units come complete with not only a highly skilled, knowledgeable and experienced diesel mechanic, but also a full compliment of hand tools, a welder / generator, air compressor, oxy / acetylene, water blaster, self-contained waste oil evacuation system, and four electronically metered oil delivery units.

We have a full, comprehensive ForestSafe health and safety policy, specifically developed to carry across each varied industry within which we operate. As a living document this policy continues to evolve in response to industry demands, being fully backed by our substantial commercial insurance package.

Scheduled plant and equipment servicing

We offer scheduled plant and equipment servicing to facilitate the effective, efficient and safe operation of your fleet.

Preventative maintenance & rebuilds

Our mobile diesel mechanics have the necessary skill base to recommend and carry out preventative maintenance & rebuilds on your plant and equipment, allowing early identification and resolution of issues likely to cause loss of productivity and income.

Breakdown response

We offer a 24 hour, seven day breakdown response should you require this. No hidden callout fees. No after hours penalty rates. We will work where and when you need us.

Fleet management & maintenance programmes

We have an extremely high skill, knowledge and experience base allowing us to consult on your fleet requirements and maintenance programmes, thus helping you to reduce operational costs while increasing productivity.

Parts, oil & lubricant supply

Through our strong supplier relationships both within NZ and internationally, we offer you great response times and value for money when sourcing all your parts and supplies.

Crew

Sam Wilson – Managing Director

As a CAT trained diesel mechanic, Sam has comprehensive skill, knowledge and experience within the agricultural, civil, earthmoving, forestry, marine, materials handling, and mining (above and below-ground) sectors. With his extensive understanding of heavy plant & equipment of any age, he is also highly proficient in fault diagnosis, particularly within hydraulic and electrical systems.

Paula Wilson – Managing Director

Paula’s expertise lies in accounting, business administration and occupational health and safety. Holding a Bachelor of Business in Accounting and Management supported by a Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting, she contributes at all times a high degree of professionalism, communication and compliance within company operations.

We made the decision to move to Progressive Field Services as they were prepared to come on site and understand our business and throughout the time they have been on board doing our forklift maintenance we have had less downtime on our machines than what we had with our previous supplier. Sam and Paula have a can do attitude which is a great fit for us and nothing at all is a problem to them when we ring to get things done and would truly recommend them for any of your servicing needs.
